Julia "Irene" Long, 84, of Warren, passed away Tuesday July 10, 2012 at Hospice House in Poland. Irene was born June 7, 1928 in Sharon, PA the daughter of Michael and Mary Woytko Bohach. She was a 1947 graduate of Brookfield High School. Irene was a member of St James Catholic Church. She enjoyed bingo, gambling, polkas, listening to the radio and spending time with her family. During the last several months, Irene enjoyed her stay at the Sunrise Assisted Living Facility in Poland. Irene's husband, Daniel Jay Long, whom she married June 18, 1949, passed away November 19, 2005. Irene leaves her loving family, son, Michael D. (Jean) Long of Boardman; daughter, Karen M. (James) Krause of Dayton; sister, Ann McMichael of Coitsville and four grandchildren, Lauren N. (Zac) Craig, Michael D. Long Jr., Timothy L. Long and Nicholas G. Long. In addition to her husband and parents, Irene was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Long; a brother, Michael Bohach; and a sister, Mary Rotenberry. Calling hours will be Friday July 13 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home with a Funeral Service following at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pineview Memorial Park.
