Warren – Julio E. Cuesta M.D., 90, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at St. Joseph Health Center.

He was born July 20, 1926, in Santa Clara, Cuba, the son of the late Daniel and Maria Cuesta.

He graduated from the University of Havana with his M.D. Degree. Came to the USA in 1956 to Tampa and then to Warren in 1963. He retired in 1998 from family practice. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, the AMA, OMA, and the Trumbull County Medical Society. He enjoyed baseball, music, gardening, wildlife, was an avid reader and was a civil war buff.

He is survived his wife Adelfa Cuesta who he married July 21, 1956, a son Julio N. (Michele) Cuesta of Pittsburgh, two daughters Alina Cuesta at home and Gricel Cuesta of Orlando, Fl, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren, with Rev. Thomas Eisweirth officiating.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
