Warren – Kelly Savopoulos, 89, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland.

She was born December 29, 1927 in Mitilini, Greece, the daughter of the late John and Eugenia Komninos.

She came to Warren in 1947. She retired from Packard Electric as a taper in the Harness department after 32 years. She was a member St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren, Yasou Club and Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cooking.

She is survived by her children Ernest "Ernie" (Jean) Savopoulos, Virginia Parker, and Mercene (Micky) York all of Warren, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents, husband Gust Savopoulos who she married February 8, 1948 and passed away December 23, 1988, grandchild Tina Parker a great great grandson, one brother and one sister.

Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4;00 to 6:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Trisagion and Thursday 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE Warren, Ohio 44483.

A service will be Thursday, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
