Warren - Leona DeSanti, 89, passed away July 1, 2016 at UPMC in Pittsburgh. She was born October 21, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late Ralph A. and Anna Miller. She came to Warren in 1935. She previously had worked at Packard Electric and Grinnell. Leona was a member of St. Mary's Church in Warren. She enjoyed reading, quilting, various crafts, and going to garage sales and flea markets. She is survived by her two children Annamarie DeSanti of Warren with whom she made her home, and Michael V. (Anne) DeSanti of Rhinebeck, NY, daughter-in-law Lydia DeSanti of Messa, AZ. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Vincent M. DeSanti whom she married April 23, 1945 and passed away October 15, 2008, and a son Patrick DeSanti. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North rd. NE Warren, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Warren with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Burial will be in St., Mary's Cemetery in Warren.
