WARREN - Lillian L. Klein, 85, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

She was born Feb. 16, 1926, in Hopkinton, R.I., the daughter of Fred L. and Daisy Wood Knight.

Years ago Lillian was co-owner and operated Klein's Market for 18 years. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church and St. Benedict's Auxiliary. Lillian enjoyed knitting, crocheting and doing puzzles.

Lillian's husband, Albert W. Klein Sr., whom she married Feb. 7, 1953, passed away Jan. 6, 1995.

Lillian leaves a son, Col. Albert W. (Terry) Klein Jr., Ret., of Brussels, Belgium; two daughters, Cynthia ''Cindy'' D.E. Klein of Niles and Sophie A. (William) Maddox of Warren; four grandchildren, Jackie (Ryan) Lorge of Cary, N.C., Sarah (Brian) Rudd of Warren, Katie Beadle of Garrettsville and Kelsey Maddox of Warren; and two great-grandchildren, Brian Rudd Jr. and Kendall Lorge, and one due in July.

In addition to her husband and parents, Lillian was preceded in death by a sister, Harriet Williams; and four brothers, Henry O. Knight, Fred C. Knight, Robert D. Knight and Donald Knight.

Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will be noon Wednesday at SS Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, preceded by an 11:30 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
