Lorraine M. Sinchak, 51, of Chardon and formerly of Niles, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 4:13 p.m. in the emergency room at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren after suffering cardiac arrest while visiting with family.

Lorraine was born on September 27, 1963 in Warren the daughter of Fred and the late Judith (Tripodi) Skiba and was a 1981 graduate of Niles McKinley High School.

Lorraine was currently working as a quality control manager with Custom Products in Solon.  She was of the Catholic faith and was a recent member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chardon and a longtime member of St. Stephen Church in Niles.  Lorraine enjoyed and cherished the time that she spent with her family.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Ronald A. Sinchak whom she married on April 22, 1989; her father Fred of Niles; her father-in-law Andrew "Andy" Sinchak of Cortland; two sons Joseph A. Sinchak of Garfield Heights and Jeffrey A. Sinchak at home; two brothers Fred (Kim) Skiba of Mineral Ridge and Charles (Tammy) Skiba of Niles; many nieces and nephews and by a host of friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her mother, Judith and a brother Joseph Skiba and her mother-in-law Irene Sinchak.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home, 727 E. Market St., Warren, Ohio 44482.

A Christian Burial Service will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

As a sign of sympathy and condolence the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Lorraine's name to her favorite charity WomanSafe 12041 Ravenna Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024.

A caring cremation has taken place under the care of the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home.
