Alabama - Louise C. "Lou" Monteneri, 78, formerly of Bazetta passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her residence. Lou was born April 9, 1935 in Pomeroy, Ohio the daughter of Carl and Edna (Aoeffer) Hood. Louise was a graduate of Warren Township High School in 1953. She married the love of her life Phillip John Monteneri on September 12, 1953and together they raised four children. She worked at Packard Electric for a short time and spent many years as a homemaker then took a job she enjoyed as a bus driver for Fairhaven School where she retired from. She worked with the Trumbull County Board of Elections and the Democratic Party for many years .She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, fishing, cooking and baking, she especially enjoyed keeping up with sports of all her kids but spent most of her time caring for her special daughter Marque they loved going to casino together. She is survived by her three children John Monteneri of Foley, AL., Vincent (Tracy) Monteneri of Champion, and Marque Monteneri of Foley, AL., three grandchildren Gina and Michael of Fowler, OH., and Lydia of Baycliff, TX., a sister Eileen Trask of Foley and a niece Eilaine Trask of Foley, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Phillip J. Monteneri whom she married September 12, 1953 and passed away April 7, 2007 and a son: Phillip Monteneri, Jr. There will be a memorial Mass Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (St. James Church) with Rev. Jeffery Stealey officiating. Friends may call at the Church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta.
