Warren - Lucy A. Pinto, 94, passed away Friday, January 09, 2015 at Community Skilled Nursing Home. She was born February 5, 1920 in Castel DiSangro, Italy the daughter of the late Zifferino "Ziff" and Maria (Angelelli) Angelo. Lucy retired in 1976 from General Electric (Ohio Lamp) as an inspector for over 26 years. She was a member of Blessed John Paul II Parish (St. Joseph Church) and the Civitellese Club. Lucy enjoyed playing cards with friends and socializing, shopping, traveling, and going to casinos, cooking especially her homemade Italian specialties and spending time with her family. She is survived by her two sons Matthew (Nancy) Pinto and Zifferino (Crystal) Pinto both of Howland, a daughter Mary (Chuck) Nickolas of Warren, nine grandchildren Michele (Marc) Lambert, Scott (Nikki) Pinto, Dawn Kelley, Dominic Pinto, Ashley Pinto, Danielle (Sarah) Nickolas, Joshua (Michelle) Nickolas, Patricia McCleery and Vincent McCleery and fifteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dominic M. Pinto who passed away October 4, 1991, a daughter Donna McCleery, great grandchild Matteo Pinto, a sister Beatrice Angelo, and two brothers Joseph and John Angelo. Family and friends may call Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
