Obituary

WARREN - Madeline Yenchochik, 83, of Warren, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011, at University Hospital in Cleveland.

Madeline was born March 19, 1928, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of John and Anna Hreha Hovan.

She had been a telephone operator in Pittsburgh before coming to Warren.

Madeline was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church.

Madeline's husband, Nicholas A. Yenchochik, whom she married May 25, 1953, survives. Also, Madeline leaves three daughters, Nancy J. (Chris) Pappas of Warren, Lynn M. (Jerry) Luich of Whittier, Calif., and Kim L. Erl of Niles; a brother, Raymond Hovan of Munhall, Pa.; a sister, Marlene Price of Munhall, Pa.; five grandchildren, Greg and Aileen Pappas, Jamie and Sandy Luich and Brian Erl; and three great-grandsons, Gavin Pappas, Camron and Landen Erl.

In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sinchak and Sons Funeral Home, with a memorial vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Also, there will be a calling hour from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, with the funeral service following at 10 a.m. at the church.

Burial will be at Pineview Memorial Park.
