Margaret B. Bielecki, 86, of Warren, entered into eternal life on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:04 a.m. at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren following a short illness.
Margaret was born on May 11, 1929 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (Kubek) Babnic and was baptized and raised in St. Mathias Catholic Church.
Raised on the Southside of Youngstown, Margaret was a 1947 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She retired from the Warren City Schools after working as a cafeteria aide.
Affectionately known as "Marge" by her family and friends, she was a member of the Wreath #54 Slovak Catholic Sokol Lodge, 50+ Club of the former St. Pius X Church and a current member of St. Cyril & Methodius 50+ Club. Marge was a very charismatic person with a humble and genuine heart. A strong, faithful and devout catholic, Marge was devoted to the Blessed Mother. She was a long time member of the former St. Joseph Catholic Church on North Street in Warren. A place she was very proud of and called home for many years. She and Frank continued to be active members of St. John Paul II Parish, where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and the Sunshine Club of the church.
Marge was married to the love of her life, Frank J. Bielecki, whom she married on June 25, 1955 and with whom she just celebrated 60 years of marriage. Together they shared the love of four children, twin sons Anthony S. Bielecki, who passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 1978, Andrew R. Bielecki, Sr. at home, Frank T. Bielecki of Livermore, CA, and Janice (Kevin) Allard of Hilliard, OH; and three grandsons Andrew R. (Marybeth) Bielecki, Jr., Anthony Bielecki and Robert Goodson. Marge is also survived by a brother Robert Babnic of Youngstown and a sister Anne (Joseph) Adams of Struthers.
Besides her parents and son Anthony, Marge was preceded in death by an infant sister Helen Babnic and a sister and brother-in-law Mary and Jack Gallaer.
