Cortland - Margaret Megyesi, 87, of Cortland passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born January 24, 1926 in Miskolc, Hungary the daughter of Andrew and Margaret Szuch. Margaret came to Warren in 1956 from Hungary. She enjoyed rose gardening and her two grandchildren. She is survived by her son Joseph (Monica) Megyesi of Cortland, two grandchildren Joseph "Joey" Megyesi III of Solon and Michael Joseph Megyesi of Austintown. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph Megyesi, Sr., two brothers and two sisters. Per her request there will be no calling hours a private committal service will take place at a later date with Rev. Carl Kish officiating at Hillside Cemetery in Cortland.
