Key Largo, FL. - Margaret Mokris, 86, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at St. Margaret Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio. Margaret was born May 14, 1927 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Willis and Pauline Fye. Margaret came to Warren in 1954. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Margaret volunteered in several service organizations and enjoyed reading, playing cards, puzzles and spending time with her family. She is survived by seven children Dr. Jeffrey (Marylee) Mokris of Charlotte, NC, Dr. Michael (Carolyn) Mokris of Orlando, FL., Paul Mokris of Orlando, FL., Phillip (Sue) Mokris of Valrico, FL., Barbara Smurda of Cincinnati, Mary (Dr. Thomas) Syzek of Cincinnati and Janice (Rocky) Julian of Hubbard, twenty one grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a sister Kathleen Hagerman of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dr. George Mokris, M.D. whom she married June 10, 1950 and passed away March 16, 2005, three brothers Richard, Thomas and Monsignor Lawrence Fye, and two sisters Betty Fye and Sister Charles. Family and friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev Thomas Eisweirth officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Cortland, Ohio.
