Margaret "Peggy" Panyko, 89, of Southington, entered into eternal life Friday, August 5, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. in her home under the comfort of hospice.

Peggy was born February 21, 1927 in Warren the daughter of the late Charles K. and Mary (Bohaca) Panyko and was a lifelong area resident.

For over 42 years, Peggy was a clerk at B&J Supermarket retiring in 1989.  She was an avid golfer, belonging to many leagues over the years; most recently the Thursday Morning Cranberry Hills Women's League.  She was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Warren Women's Bowling Hall of Fame.  Peggy also enjoyed playing cards with her friends and enjoyed a good trip to the casino.

She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Warren.

Peggy is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and by a host of friends.

Besides her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her siblings John and Charles Panyko; Mary Brownell, Helen Brownfield and Erma E. Larson.

A Sunday morning Liturgy will be said in her memory on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Warren with Fr. Simeon B. Sibenik as celebrant.

A caring cremation has taken place and there will be no calling hours observed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Peggy's name to MVI Hospice 4891 Belmont Ave, Youngstown, Ohio 44505 or to Angels for Animals 4750 W. South Range Road, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
