Obituary

Howland – Margaret A. "Peg" Horning, 88, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Windsor House in Champion.

She was born October 23, 1928, in Salem, Ohio the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Redinger.

She was a 1946 graduate of Salem High School. She previously worked as a secretary at Phelps and King and Blessed Sacrament Church. Margaret was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilt making, reading, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters Lisa Horning of Arizona, and Amy (James) Horning Bugos of Howland, and two grandchildren Brayden Deemer and Aftyn Bugos whom she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul J. Horning whom she married October 14, 1950 and passed away July 8, 2016, and a sister Faye Redinger.

A memorial mass will be Friday, March 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Thomas McCarthy & Rev. Edward Beneleit officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Margaret's name to Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market St. Youngstown, Ohio 44512.

Arrangements are being handled by the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE Warren, Ohio 44483.
