Howland - Margaret "Marge" Shivak, 84, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at Omni Manor in Austintown. She was born January 1, 1931, in Bertha, Pa. the daughter of the late George and Anna Maleychik. She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School and a graduate of Shenango Business School with an Associates Degree in secretarial. She retired from Johnson and Associates in Warren as an office manager after 23 years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren, Keynotes Organ Club and the Fifth Wheel Club. She enjoyed playing cards especially pinochle, sewing, cooking, dancing and playing the organ and key boards. She is survived by her children, Diane (Raymond) Hughes of Jerseyville, Ill, Paul Shivak of Howland , and Joyce (Jim) DeSantis of Howland, five grandchildren Robert, Kimberly, John Hughes, and Samuel, Gracie DeSantis. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward S. Shivak whom she married May 16, 1953 and passed away January 9, 2004, two brothers George and John Maleychik and four sisters Anna, Mary, Alma and Betty Family and friends may call Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
