Howland - Mary A. Bungo, 93, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Windsor House in Champion. Mary was born on April 27, 1921, in Janesville, PA, the daughter of the late Martin and Luby Strutzel. She was a homemaker and caregiver who always made her family her first priority. Mary not only cared for her elderly parents, she devoted her life to care for her husband who became blind after they married and her handicapped son, Ken. He husband, Wasco Charles Bungo, whom she married May 26, 1946, passed away on October 10, 2010. Mary is survived by her twin sons, Steve (Karen) Bungo of Howland, Ed (Kathy) Bungo of Dubois PA, and Ken Bungo of Austintown. Also left to cherish her memories are her grandchildren that were the love of her life: Marilyn (Andy) Mills of Glasgow KY, Patrick (Karen) Bungo of McDonald PA, and Greg (Stephanie) Bungo of Pittsburgh PA. In addition she leaves her four great-grandchildren Linc Mills, Aurora and Scarlett Bungo and Elena Bungo. Mary was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Andrew, Joseph, Frank, George, Victor (Swede) and sisters Pauline and Katherine. Family and friends may call Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren.
