Obituary

Howland - Mary Cherep, 95, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland. She was born November 18, 1918 in Listie, Pennsylvania the daughter of Wasyl and Anna Wilco. Mary came to Warren years ago from Michigan. She retired from K Mart as a cashier. She was a member of St. John Orthodox Church. She is survived by her two children Steven (Carol) Cherep of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Lydia Becker of Howland, five grandchildren Kelly (Brandon) Schroer, and Brent (Kelli) Cherep both of Lincoln, NE., Justin Becker of Howland, Ana (Paul) Harden of Parma Hts., OH and Maria Becker of Independence, OH and eight Great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Michael Cherep who passed away in April 13, 1992, and three brothers John, Steven, and Michael Wilco. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at St. Johns Orthodox Church on Reeves Rd. where a service will fallow the calling hours at 10:30 a.m. at the Church with Fr. Jonathon Cholcher officiating. Burial will be Acacia Park Cemetery, Beverly Hills, MI. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mary's name to St. Johns Orthodox Chucrh 2220 Reeves Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483. Arrangemts are being handled by the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
