Obituary

Warren - Mary DePascale, 98, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland with family by her side. She was born February 27, 1918 in Gilpin, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Stocz. She was the co-owner with her husband of Mary M's Restaurant on Parkman Rd for 37 years, and had previously worked at GE Lamp. Mary was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling to numerous casinos, cooking, and golfing. Her favorite moments were spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband Arthur DePascale whom she married August 24, 1950, passed away June 16, 1988 She is survived by her children Marianne (Richard) Antonelli of Westlake, Virginia "Ginny" Johnston of Warren, Michael DePascale of Cortland, and Michelle (Daniel) Notar of Warren, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a sister Marge Pestrak of Warren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son-in-law Rus Johnston, brothers Steve and Joseph Stocz and a sister Ann Perin. A private service was held with Rev. Thomas Eisweirth officiating. Burial was in All Souls Cemetery. Mary's family would like to share there heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mary Ann Fontanarosa, Dr. Youseff and staff of Shepherd of the Valley, and the staff of Hospice of the Valley.
