Warren - Mary L. Ellis, 78, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 22, 1938, in Niles, Ohio the daughter of the late Leonard and Letha Creech. She attended Newton Falls High School. She moved to Warren in the early 1960's. Mary retired from the Warren City Schools working in the cafeteria after 20 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Warren. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, gardening, being around her family and her beloved pets. She is survived by her children Rebecca (Pete) Sotus of Boardman, Robert (Holly) Ellis of Cortland, Lorraine (Joe) Costarella of Girard, and Brian P. (Eva FiancAC.e) Ellis of Canfield, eight grandchildren Sara, Michael, David, Brandon, Nicholas, Toni Ann, Rachele and Victoria, two great grandchildren Jayce, and Logan and a brother William (Donna) Creech of Newton Falls. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert "Tiny" Ellis who she married August 16, 1965 and passed away February 7, 2009, a brother Leonard "Oakley" Creech who passed away in the "Korean Conflict, and two sisters Minerva Browning and Frances Weekley. A memorial calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North rd. Ne Warren, Ohio 44483. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Oaks officiating.
