Mary I. Habosky, 79, of Southington, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 9:58 a.m. in St. Joseph Health Center.
Mrs. Habosky was born on December 4, 1933 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Harry and Elsie (Justis) Killin.
A homemaker, Mary enjoyed bingo, shopping on QVC and most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren.
Mrs. Habosky was of the catholic faith and attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish-SS. Cyril & Methodius Church in Warren.
Mary married her first husband Giles Davidson on June 18, 1955 and they were married for 3 years until his passing on April 5, 1959 and she then married John E. Habosky on July 31, 1964 and they were married for 32 years until his passing on December 26, 1996.
Mrs. Habosky is survived by five children Dale "Chip" (Darla) Habosky of Southington, Mark Davidson of Warren, John J. Habosky of Southington, Patty (Dennis) Hedrick of Warren and Mary (John) Gore of Champion; a sister Jean Cameron of Cortland ; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Mary was also preceded in death by five brothers Harry, David, Eugene, Raymond and Robert Killin and by a sister Eleanor Nidel.
Calling hours will take place on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Sinchak and Sons Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Fr. Jeffrey M. Stealey, presiding. Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
