Cortland – Mary O. Lunder, 92, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the Hospice House in Poland. She was born August 2, 1921 in Monongahela, PA., the daughter of George and Anna Ondik. Mary came to Warren in 1928 and she attended Warren G. Harding High School. She had previously worked at Taylor Winfield. Mary was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Cortland. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, reading and golfing. She is survived by her daughter Susan "Sue" Butler of Cortland, two grandchildren Chelsea and Taylor Butler and a brother John Ondik of Cortland. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William Lunder who passed away February 16, 1980, three brothers George, Steve and Joseph Ondik and a sister Anne Valiska. Family and friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. James P. Walker officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
