CENTERVILLE - Mary Margaret Manusakis Dobson, 68, passed away Thursday, Feb. 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving daughter and family, at Miami Valley Hospital Main, after a brief battle with brain cancer.

Mary was born March 6, 1955, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Nicholas and Catherine Manusakis. She was a graduate of Western Reserve High School in the class of 1973.

Mary worked as a healthcare information management clerk with Dayton Eye Associates in Dayton, Ohio.

Mackenzie writes: Mary loved Tommy, Mackenzie and her grandkids and anyone in her path. She was the best mother and wife, she was selfless and a giver - 100% of the time. I don't know a stronger woman than her and I strive to be like her. She loved playing bingo, the lottery and shopping on QVC. She gave the best hugs ever. She always gave you a bag of your favorite candy on your birthday, she was the best person ever…I miss you mom already."

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 48 years, Thomas Dobson, whom she married June 28, 1975; her daughter, Mackenzie R. Dobson; her grandchildren, Malex K. Hoening, Hawley-Catherine J. Hoening, and Harley R. Hughes; siblings, Bill (Sherry) Manusakis, Kathy (Phil) Parks, and Susie (Mark) Kamer; sister-in-law, Terri Manusakis (Eddie's wife); and niece, Lauren A. Manusakis (daughter of Nicholas M. Manusakis Jr.); and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers Ed "Eddie" Manusakis and Nicholas M. Manusakis Jr.

Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon, with a ceremony at noon Friday, March 1, 2024, in the chapel of Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road NE, Warren, OH 44483.

Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery.
