Warren - Mary A. Pinion, age 84, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at her home in Warren, OH. She was born December 2, 1928 in Ravenna, OH to Maria Rumunni Favazzo and Joseph Ramunni. Mary was a graduate of Ravenna High School and came to Warren in 1960. She retired from Cesta Golden Gate as a waitress after 20 years. Mary was an active member of St. Pius X Parish as well as the Ohio Star Quilters Guild. Mary was an avid and gifted quilter, baker and cook who loved to employ her talents to create one-of-a-kind items for loved ones and friends. She also enjoyed spending her summers camping with family and friend. Mary will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is the beloved wife of William Pinion whom she married January 8, 1949; loving mother of Mary Lyn Pinion, Mark Pinion, and Daughter In-Law Lisa Pinion, the cherished grandmother of Daniel Boich, Michael Boich, Alison Pinion and Michelle Pinion, and devoted sister of Nellie (Joe) Polichena She was preceded in death by her parents, son John W. Pinion, and two sisters Carmella Wiczen, and Bessie Anthony. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, at 11:00 AM, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church) 2532 Burton St. SE,Warren, OH 44484. Fr. James Walker officiating. Family and friends may call Monday, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. James Church. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
