Obituary

WARREN - Mary Regnall, 90, passed away Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, at her residence.

Mary was born Jan. 30, 1921, in Orient, Pa., the daughter of Michael and Anna Sichak Yedinak.

She was a 1940 graduate of Redstone High School. Mary moved to the area in 1943.

Mary was a ''Rosie the Riveter'' at Van Huffel Tube Co. during World War II. After her husband passed away, Mary worked for Warren City Schools in food servicing, retiring in 1990.

Mary was a faithful and longtime member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church and the Sisterhood of the church, and worked in the kitchen dish room doing dishes for dinners and fish fries.

Mary's husband, Savu Regnall, whom she married Feb. 11, 1950, passed away March 20, 1976.

Mary leaves a son, Michael G. Regnall of Warren; a daughter, Carole (Larry) Nicholl of Warren; a grandson, Michael J. Nicholl; and a granddaughter, Mary L. Nicholl.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and John Yedinak; a sister, Anne Yedinak; and a twin sister, Helen Yedinak.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at St. John Baptist Orthodox Church, 2220 Reeves Road N.E., Warren, with a 6:30 p.m. memorial vigil service. Calling hours will also be held from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Jonathon Cholcher and the Rev. Peter Pawlack officiating.

Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery.
