Warren - Mary E. Sarantino, 85, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at St. Joseph Health Center. Mary was born May 25, 1929 in Osceola Mills, PA., the daughter of Michael and Anna Parana. She came to Warren as a young girl. Mary was a member of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crafts, reading and spending time with her grandsons and her daughters. She is survived by her two children Maryann (John J.) DiCenso and Angela E. Sarantino both of Warren, two grandsons Adam D. and Aaron M. Mayer, three brothers John Parana, William (Barbara) Parana, and Michael (Virginia) Parana all of Warren a sister Irene Frankos of Warren, two sister-in-laws Ruth Parana of Warren, Dorothy Parana of Newton Falls and a son-in-law Donald R. Mayer of Warren, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, former husband Tony P. Sarantino, a daughter Toni M. Sarantino and three brothers Martin, George and Alfred Parana and a sister Kathryn Moore. Family and friends may call Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A service will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
