Howland - Michael J. "Papa Bell" Bell Sr., 74, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at his residence. He was born January 9, 1941, in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Carmen and Violet Bell. He was a 1958 graduate of Warren St. Mary's High School where he lettered in Football. Michael was owner and operator of Bell's Collision Centre on Niblock Ave. NW for thirty years. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Warren. Michael enjoyed bowling and had bowled a 300 game, an avid car enthusiast, and racing cars and he was very proud of his grandchildren and especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Michael served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his children Michael J. (Kelly) Bell II of Howland, Christine Bell of Howland, and Timmy (Nicole) Bell of Las Vegas, five grandchildren Joey, Michael III, Nicholas, Noah and Gianna Bell, and two sisters Carolyn Bell of San Bernardino, CA, and Marilyn Phillips of Euclid. He is preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE Warren, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church with Rev. James P. Walker officiating.
