October 12, 1923 – November 15, 2016
Mildred M. Golder, 93, of Niles, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 2:00 a.m. in Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles.
Mrs. Golder was born on October 12, 1923 in Youngstown the daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Oles Zaleski and was a lifelong area resident.
Millie retired from Fairhaven Schools where she worked as a cook.
Millie was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church and a member of the Greek Catholic Union #915. She enjoyed dancing, playing bingo and had a passion for flower gardening. Millie also enjoyed trips to the casino with her sisters.
Mille was married on June 28, 1958 to George Golder and they were married for 29 years until his passing on March 7, 1988. She is survived by two sons Thomas F. (Cindy) Golder of Berthoud, Colorado and John M. Golder of Thornton, Colorado; a sister Alice Seka of Austintown and two grandsons Johnathan and George Golder.
Besides her parents and husband, Millie was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Tyson, Johanna Schisler, Victoria Sipusic, Helen Ramps, Bernice Stone, Valeria Zaleski, Adam Zaleski and Michael Zaleski.
Calling hours will take place on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Sinchak & Kaszowski Funeral Home, where a Parastas Service will be recited at 4:00 p.m. Monday.
A Divine Funeral Liturgy with Fr. Simeon B. Sibenik officiating, will be offered on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, preceded by closing prayers to be recited at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home prior in leaving for the church. Burial will take place in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
