Masury – Miranda Scopelitis, 85, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 28, 1933, in Samos, Greece, the daughter of the late George and Bessie Vacras.

She came to Warren in 1959. Miranda was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren and the Samos Society.

She is survived by her son George Scopelitis of Augsburg, Germany and a granddaughter Miranda of Germany.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Miltiades "Milton" Scopelitis who she married June 25, 1960 and passed away March 20, 1992.

Family and friends may pay their respects Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 429 High St. Warren, Ohio 44481.

A service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Miranda's name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 429 High St. Warren, Ohio 44481.
