Obituary

WARREN - Myra Gail Harsany, 61, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010, after a short battle with cancer. She died at peace and without pain, surrounded by her family at home.

Myra Gail was born July 1, 1948, in Double Springs, Ala., the daughter of Abner and Audrey Kinbrell Jones. They preceded her in death.

Myra Gail moved to Cleveland as a young girl and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1968. On June 27, 1970, she married Rudolph S. Harsany at West Side Hungarian Reform Church in Cleveland. Rudolph survives.

Myra Gail and Rudolph moved to Warren in 1972 and resided in the house she made a home until her death.

During her lifetime, Myra Gail served in the U.S. Air Force, was a telephone operator and most recently worked as a home health provider.

Myra Gail enjoyed cooking, sewing and planting flowers. She was a longtime member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Warren, where she was active in women's activities for many years.

In her later years, her greatest joy in life became her grandchildren, Jacob, Austin, Talan and Claire. She never missed a game, school event, birthday or chance to babysit.

In addition to her husband and grandchildren, Myra Gail is survived by her sons, Paul L. and wife, Zhou, Rudolph A. and fiancee, Tabitha and Jonathan W. and wife, Cassandra, all of Warren; brothers, Kennith Jones of Biloxi, Miss., and Randy Jones of Double Springs, Ala.; and brother-in-law, Michael Harsany and wife, Trish of Parma; and many nieces and nephews.

A sister, Esther Abilene, preceded her in death.

Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home and 10:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2050 Oakdale St. N.W., Warren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Meadowbrook Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
