Champion - Myrna "Gene" Hall, 73, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Hospice House in Poland. She was born July 5, 1942, in Weaver, W. Va. the daughter of Henry and Macel Scott. Gene was a 1960 graduate of Phillipi High School. She came to Warren in 1971. She attended Champion Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and Bible study . She is survived by her husband, Keith Hall, whom she married August 2, 1960, three children Marty (Theresa) Hall, of Warren, Sherry (Joe) Catri, of Huron, and Wendy (Frank) Lasso, of Amherst, four grandchildren Jeramia (Sharyn) Hall, Danielle (Rich) Park, Gretchen and Rachel Lasso, two great grandchildren Liam and Preston, a brother Wendell (Hattie) Scott, of Belington, W. Va, and a sister Rosalie (John) McCabe, of Ashville, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends may call Thursday from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A service will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Destry Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Champion.
