Warren - Nicholas "Nick" Koutsouras, 84, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born July 24, 1932, in Chios, Greece the son of the late Demetrios and Evangelia Koutsouras. Nick came to the U.S. in 1952 and moved to Warren in 1958. He retired from the G.M. Assembly Plant in Lordstown as a machinist after 27 years. He was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Warren. He enjoyed reading, gardening, grilling out doors and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. Nick served in the Greece Merchant Marines. He is survived by his wife Eugenia Koutsouras who he married July 1, 1956, two daughters Evelyn Koutsouras of Del Ray Beach, FL, and Mary (James) Pitinii of Warren, two grandchildren Lukea and Nicolette, five brothers Matthew (Joanne) Koutsouras Bayside, NY, Terry (Stamatia) Koutsouras, Michael (Marina) Koutsouras, Sotiri (Jenny) Koutsouras and Lambros (Phyllis) Koutsouras all of Long Island, NY, and a sister Kitsa Alexandris of Athens, Greece. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother George Koutsouras. A private service will be held on Monday. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
