Warren - Nick T. Kotsatos, 76, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014. Nick was born September 16, 1937 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Eleftherios and Mary Kotsatos of Chios, Greece. He was a 1956 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Nick attended Youngstown State University where he was in the ROTC program and also completed the IBM School in Youngstown. He retired from Copperweld Steel as a grinder recorder in the conditioning department after 32 years. Nick was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren and St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Warren. He married the late Perdika "Perrie" Kloumasis in Chios, Greece on August 18, 1968 and they raised their family together in Warren, Ohio. His loving wife passed away May 30, 1998. He leaves behind the joys of his life, his three daughters, Maria (Thurston) Winbush of Warren, Angie (Patrick) Shaw of Worthington and Terri Kotsatos of Warren; three granddaughters, Peri Winbush, Lola Winbush and Sarafina Shaw; a sister, Marina (John Jr.)Payiavlas, and nieces and nephews, Maria and George Payiavlas of Warren, sisters-in-law, Sophia Pannou and Maria Kloumasis and niece and nephew Angeliki and Dimitri Pannou of Chios, Greece and nephew , Stamatis (Panayiota) Kloumasis of Michigan and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife. Family and friends may call Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a 5:00 p.m. Trisagion Service, and Monday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel. A Service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis and Fr. Kenneth Bachofsky officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren. Material contributions may be made in Nick's name to the Sunday School of St. Demetrios, 429 High St. Warren, Ohio 44481.
