Obituary

Cortland-Nick M.Loprire ,69, passed away Saturday March 4th, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Nick was born September 9, 1947 in Warren Ohio, son of the late Nick and Margaret Loprire.

He was a 1965 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, and graduated in 1970 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Delphi Packard for 39 years, and retired in 2008 as a Senior Process Engineer with several impressive patents.

Nick was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Cortland, and had co-chaired the annual parish picnic. His love for life and the great outdoors was evident in his hobbies as an avid fly fisherman, hunter, winemaker, cook, and going to classic car shows. Nick was a member of The Vienna Fish and Game Club and member of Neshannock Chapter of Trout Unlimited for 34 years serving as President. He was the ultimate Ohio State Buckeye, Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Cavaliers fan.

Nick loved his family, friends, and especially loved to laugh.

He is survived by his wife Karen Lorello-Loprire, who he married September 13, 1975, two children Nicholas J. Loprire of Dublin, OH and Melissa Loprire of Los Angeles, CA, a brother Donald

( Jill) Recser of Howland OH, and a sister Mary Grace Loprire of Columbus OH.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may call Thursday from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel at 1884 North Rd. NE Warren, Ohio 44483 and Friday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Cortland.

A mass of Christian burial will be Friday at 11:00am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Cortland, Ohio with Rev. Carl Kish officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nick's name to -Fr. Carl Kish's Senior High Youth Ministry Scholarship Fund, 4659 State Route 46, Cortland Ohio 44410 or Trout Unlimited-Neshannock Chapter #216, P.O. Box 1362, Hermitage PA 16148.
