Warren - Nicky "Nick' Craciun, 79, of Warren passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at his residence. Nick was born August 22, 1934 in Monroe, MI the son of John and Eleanor Craciun. Nick and his family came to Warren in 1938 and was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Nick served in the U.S. Army and retired as a Master Sgt. E-8 in April 1976 after 23 years. Nick served two tours in Vietnam from 1966 to 1969 and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. Nick, Dee and John moved to Warren Ohio in 1977. He Retired in August 1996 after 19 years from Trumbull Industries in Youngstown as Branch Manager and Company Sales Manager. He was a member of Blessed John Paul II Parish. Nick enjoyed gardening and especially growing roses. He was a very generous and loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his son John N. (Renee) Craciun of Cortland, two grandsons Nick and Noah Craciun of Cortland one great grandchild Lily Craciun of Cortland and two brothers John ( Mary) Craciun, Jr. of Warren and David Craciun of Vienna. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife the love of his life Andree M. "Dee" Bebault Craciun whom he married December 24, 1955 and passed away July 3, 2010. There will be a private calling hours. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
