Cortland – Nikolas "Nick" Karousis, 62, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 surrounded by his entire family at University Hospital in Cleveland.

He was born June 30, 1956, in Chios, Greece the son of Panagiotis and Kyriaki "Kitsa" Karousis.

Nick was a graduate at Warren G. Harding High School and received a Bachelors Degree in Business from Youngstown State University. He was co-owner with his family of Fiesta at the Water Works in Warren. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his wife Renee Zumerling whom he married August 11, 2001, his mother Kriaki "Kitsa " Karousis of Warren, children Davis (Reanna) Karousis of Medina, Patrick Karousis of Oxford, Sarantis (Anna) Karousis of Columbus, Margretta (Nathan) Davidson of Cincinnati, and twins Jayden and Johnna at home, grandchildren George, Samson, Desmond and Stella, two brothers John Karousis of Poland, Sarantis "Danny" Karousis of Warren, and a sister Jeannie (Larry) Dieker of Columbus.

He is preceded in death by his father and a sister Kaliope Karousis.

A service will be Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren, with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
