Warren - Panagiotis "Pete" J. Karousis, 92, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born October 11, 1923, in Chios, Greece, the son of the late John and Evgenia Karousis. He was baptized by St. Anthimos of Chios, Greece. Pete came to Warren on June 30, 1966. He retired from Ohio Corrugating as a worker on the production line. He was also the owner of the Fiesta CafAC. in Warren. Pete was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren and Chios Society. He enjoyed gardening. Pete served in the Greek Army. He is survived by his wife Kyriaki "Kitsa" Karousis of 64 years, three sons; John Karousis of Warren, Nick (Renee) Karousis of Bazetta and Sarantis "Danny" Karousis of Warren, a daughter Jeannie (Larry) Dieker of Columbus, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Kaliope Karousis and fourteen siblings. A service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren. Arrangements are being handled by the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
