Obituary

Warren – Pasquale Venettacci, 96, of Warren passed away on Sunday morning, July 6, 2025 with his family by his side.

Pasquale was born on November 11, 1928 in Collelongo, Italy, the son of Dominic and Mary Rosaria (Cianfarani) Venettacci.

Pasquale married the love of his life, the former Consiglia Cerone, on December 1, 1956 in Collelongo. Pasquale came to the United States in 1948 and Consiglia followed in 1957. The two settled in Warren, OH, where they would make a life for themselves and their family.

Pasquale was an excellent chef and was employed at the Golden Gate followed by Café 422 where he retired from at the age of 75.

Pasquale was a long-time member of St. Mary's Church, now St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, and enjoyed listening to Opera especially Mario Lanza. He also enjoyed watching soccer, rooting on his favorite teams Notre Dame and the San Francisco 49ers and playing bocce. Pasquale was always interested in politics and loved to debate them with his family and friends. He always made his family his top priority and looked forward to attending his grandchildren activities and spending time with them.

Pasquale will always be remembered by his beloved two daughters Mary (Gregory) Scerbo of Warren, and Susie (Brad) Davison of McDonald, and two grandchildren Vincent and Elena Davison.

Beside his parents, Pasquale was preceded in death by his wife of over 68 years, Consiglia who passed away on June 21, 2025 and his sister Benigna Pisegna.

A private family Catholic mass was held for Pasquale on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish - St. Mary's Church, with Fr. Christopher Cicero presiding.

Burial was at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.

The family requests that material contributions may be made to the Healthy Hearts and Paws Project, 909 Martin Luther King Blvd, Warren, Ohio 44485.

Pasquale family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Traditions Hospice and Dr. Kapil Kwatra for all the care and compassion shown to them and Pasquale throughout this difficult time.
