Obituary

WARREN -Paul Barna passed away Wednesday December 7, 2016 at St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren. He was eighty-one years old. Paul was born in Howland on June 11, 1935 a son of John and Anna (Pawelchak) Barna. He was a 1953 graduate of Howland High School and would go on to work for GE Ohio Lamp in Warren. Paul would spend the next thirty-seven years there before his retirement in October of 1991 from the Shipping Department. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, yardwork, but his greatest hobby was always his family. Paul leaves behind his wife of more than fifty-eight years Mary, his sons Ken (Kim) Barna of Sanford, NC and Bill (Debbie) Barna of Howland, OH; six grandchildren Amy (Vann) Rollins, Zach (Morgan) Barna, Adam (Hannah) Barna, Joshua Barna, Logan Barna, and Megan Barna; seven great-grandchildren Peyton, Hailey, Kellyn, William, Robbie, Zayd, and Emma Faye; and by his brother Alex (Juanita) Barna of Cranberry, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Steve and Jerry Barna; and by two sisters Olga Atkins and Jenny Smuke. Funeral services will be held at 1:30PM on Monday December 12, 2016 at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Road in Warren with Pastor Dave Luther officiating. Friends may call from 11:30AM until the start the of the service.
