Warren - Paul J. Stefanko, 93, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at St. Joseph Health Center. Paul was born June 29, 1921 in West Leisenring, PA. the son of the late Joseph and Mary Sefanko. He came to Warren in 1950. Paul retired in 1987 from the Warren City Schools as a custodian after 30 years. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church). He enjoyed reading, going to dinner and interacting and teasing the waitresses and spending time with his family and friends. Paul served in the Army during WW II. Memories of Paul will be Cherished by his two daughters Cindy Rowland of Warren and Paulette (Joseph) Kubicina of Cortland, daughter-in-law Carol Stefanko of Largo, FL, granddaughter Jennifer (fiancAC. Jason Russo) Stefanko, three brothers John "Pete" Stefanko of Broadview Hts, OH, Edward Stefanko of North Ridgeville, OH, and Robert Stefanko of Cleveland, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen B. Stefanko whom he married June 12, 1948 and passed away March 21, 2013, a son Lawrence M. "Larry" Stefanko, son-in-law Robert P. Rowland, a grandson Christopher Coldewey three brothers Joseph, Stephen, and Emery Stefanko and three sisters Margaret Bata, Mary Bartkowiak and Elizabeth Kacmar. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial w ill be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (SS. Cyril & Methodius Church) with Rev. James P. Walker officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Paul and Helen's name to the Alzheimer's Association 3695 Boardman Canfield Rd.
