WARREN - Paul passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 to take his place with our Lord in heaven. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, family and friendship. Paul's smile was infectious and his love for life was apparent in all of his endeavors. Paul was born to the late Mary and Salvatore Trina and was raised in Niles, Ohio. As a young man Paul developed a passion for music. He started playing drums and formed a group that played at his grandma Accordino's establishment the Cassanova. At that time he also developed a passion for the game of golf and played every chance he could. He enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country. Following his service he returned home and graduated with an Educational Music degree from the Dana School of Music. Paul spent several years as a music teacher. During this time he met the love of his life Mary Pinion. They married soon after and have been one for 66 years. She has been his soul mate. Truly a match made in heaven! After teaching music Paul decided to change professions and he opened the Parkman Road Barber Shop with his brother Nick. The barber shop they later renamed Trinas' became a staple business in Warren for over 50 years. Paul continued his music career throughout his life playing with his bands at the best supper clubs in the area. Paul and his bands were also part of many special weddings and events. As the lead singer of the band he made sure all had a good time and those in attendance were able to hear their special songs. Throughout his adult life Paul would make sure he played his rounds of golf with all his boys from the Old Avalon golf club. They also enjoyed many winter trips together to various southern locations to play golf.
