Howland - Ralph Thomas Yocum, 69, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his residence. Tom was born June 23, 1943 in Warren, Ohio the son of Ralph E. and Dorothy Yocum. Tom was a 1961 graduate of Leavittsburg High School where he played on the basketball team. He also attended Youngstown State University served honorably in the Army and Air Force Reserves. Tom worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube and retired from Grinnell Corporation as a press operator. He is survived by his wife Irene Flohr Yocum of 44 years, brother Les (Sandra) Yocum of Warren Twp., sister Diana (Frank) Yocum Bellay of Champion, brother-in-law Horst Benz of Warren, three nieces Racheal Benz, Chandra (Bill) Konsol, and Tami (Ken) Pauley, Nephew Michael Yocum, four great nieces Haley, Emily, Ava, and Ashle, and two great nephews Tyler and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lisa Marie Yocum and a sister Doris Yocum Caraway. Arrangements where handled by the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd.
