Richard B. Sawyer, 42, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center.

Richard was born Sept. 9, 1969, in Warren, the son of Richard L. and Patricia M. Roscoe Sawyer.

He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and of Kent State University with a degree in accounting. Richard was employed by the Cafaro Co. and had also worked for Jackson Hewitt.

Richard was a member of St. James Catholic Church. He was a Cleveland Browns fan, enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his children, including taking them to sporting events.

He leaves his loving family, his wife, Jennifer M. Hanson Sawyer, whom he married Sept. 11, 1999; a daughter, Danielle E. Sawyer of Warren; a son, Andrew R. Sawyer of Warren; his parents, Richard L. and Patricia M. Sawyer of Warren; a brother, Mark A. Sawyer of Warren; and a sister, Leeann R. (Keith) Sawyer Tenney of Warren.

Visitation with the family will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
