Cortland - Robert Emil "Bob" Aho, 76, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles. He was born May 15, 1937 in Warren, Ohio the son of Arvo E. and Mildred "Millie" Aho. Bob was a 1955 Graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He retired in 1999 from Delphi Packard Electric after 28 years as an assembler on the Index Line. Bob was a member of St. Robert Church in Cortland and sang in the Church Choir, and the Knights of Columbus #11646 and served two years as Grand Knight. He enjoyed camping, swimming, fishing, hiking, riding his bike, dancing and family get togethers and was always ready for a party. Bob Served in the Army Reserves. He is survived by his wife Patricia J. Aho whom he married September 17, 1960, four children Carolyn (Keith) Carnahan, Christine A. (Patrick) Cleary, Mark R. (Leanna) Aho and Eric J. (Sulem) Aho, nine grandchildren Jolene (Michelle) Rivera, Kaitlin and Sean Carnahan, Patrick, Meghan, Mary Grace and Joseph Cleary and Zachary and Nicolas Aho. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Marsha Aho. Family and friends may call Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Robert Church in Cortland with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the Church with Rev. Carl Kish officiating.
