Robert E. LaBanc Sr., 70, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, in Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 11, 1941, in Warren, the son of Paul and Anna Shimko LaBanc.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was retired from Copperweld Steel.

Survivors include three sons, Robert E. Jr. of Howland, Stephen M. of Mecca and Kevin S. of Kinsman; two sisters, Mary Ann Kaszowski of Warren and Dorothy Marchio of Howland; and three grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Deidre Peters LaBanc; and a brother.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
