Robert M. "Bob" Kaszowski, Sr., 56, of Bazetta, passed peacefully in his home on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 10:18 a.m. following a battle with heart failure.

Bob was born on April 15, 1962 in Warren the son of the late Stanley J. and Mary Ann J. LaBanc Kaszowski and was a lifelong area resident.

Affectionately known as Hymerz by his family and friends, he attended catholic grade school and graduated in 1980 from Warren G. Harding High School.

He served his country in the United States Navy Reserves during peace time.

For the last 38 years he worked along side his brother Stan as a Service Technician and Master Mechanic for Do Cut Sales & Service in Warren.

He was of the catholic faith and was baptized and attended growing up in the former Christ Our King Catholic Church in Warren.  He was a former member of St. William Catholic Church in Champion.  Bob enjoyed drag racing and was a motor head at heart.

Bob is survived by his son Robert M. Kaszowski, Jr. of Warren; his brother Stanley R. (Rebecca) Kaszowski of Howland; his three sisters Catherine M. (Thomas) Ponikvar of Grandview, Carolyn A. (Vince) Engen of Aurora, Ill, and Patricia A. (Todd) Mobley of Niles; and his aunt Dorothy A. Marchio of Howland.  Five nephews, three nieces, three great nephews and three great nieces also survive.  He is also survived by his companion Jeanette M. Buklew of Bazetta; his good friend and neighbor Jeff Kniesly of Bazetta and his pet canine companion "Lucky".

Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two nieces.

Family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Sinchak & Kaszowski Funeral Home, 727 E. Market St. Warren.

A Parlor Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home, with Fr. Christopher Henyk, Pastor of St. John Paul II Parish in Warren as celebrant.

Burial will take place in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Bob's name to Foster Living, 2925 Youngstown Road SE, Warren, Ohio 44484.
