WARREN - Robert A. Potts Sr., 69, passed away Wednesday June 8, 2011, at his residence.

Robert was born Jan. 17, 1942, in Sharon, Pa., the son of Edward B. and Jennie Jazwinski Potts Sr. He served in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in the Mediterranean Sea in the Fleet Marines.

Robert retired from Delphi Packard Electric in 1999 after working there 35 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and also he was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous Champion Wednesday Night Group. Robert enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Robert leaves his wife, Angeline Fecik Potts, whom he married June 19, 1965; also he leaves two sons, Robert A. (Barbara) Potts Jr. of Warren and Anthony A. (Erin) Potts of Mineral Ridge; a daughter, Robin A. Potts of Warren; a stepson, Mark (Sonia) of California; a brother, Edward B. Potts Jr. of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and 10 grandchildren, Jamie, Nick, Jason, Jenny, Zack, Hannah, Karlie, Evan, Noah and Sophia.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his stepfather, Anthony DeKanich.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, preceded by a 9:30 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church of Warren Restoration Fund, 232 Seneca St., Warren, Ohio 44483, or the Hope Center, 1745 Niles Cortland Road N.E. 5, Warren, Ohio 44484.
