Robert Romanski passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the Austintown Healthcare Center in Youngstown, Ohio after a lengthy illness.  A lifelong member of St. William Catholic Church, Robert was a 1979 graduate of Champion High School.

Upon high school and many apprenticeships to learn his trade, Mr. Romanski built a successful and productive career with the Warren Engineering firm until his retirement.  He also was an outside contractor with several firms throughout the state of Ohio.

Known for his meticulous attention to detail and copious note taking, anything Robert designed had a strong foundation and was built to last.  He was also a well-respected and valuable member of the Carpenters Local Union 171 through his entire career.

In addition to engineering, Robert was known in the community as a lifelong farmer, taking after his father Vincent.  Together the father and son farmed hundreds of acres of land for decades growing crops of soybeans and wheat.

In his spare time, which there wasn't much of, Robert enjoyed playing the drums, listening to his favorite music and viewing his favorite movies and old westerns on television.  Upon retirement, trade schools requested for Robert to become an annex teacher and he continued to consult on various local projects.

Robert is survived and will be deeply missed by his sister, Patricia Ann of Warren, along with many family members and friends in the construction and farming communities.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Vincent Romanski and Delores (Patrone) Romanski of Warren, his paternal grandparents, Joe and Mary

(Durazinski) Romanski of Warren, his maternal grandparents Joe and Ann (Hatala) Patrone of Warren, and several other loved family members and friends.

Arrangements were handled by Peter Rossi and Sons in Warren, Ohio.  A private ceremony and Catholic burial mass was held for Robert at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta Township on June 24, 2025.  Family requests that any memorial tributes or donations be given in Robert's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
