Ronald J. Henkel 1933-2014 Ronald J. Henkel, 81, of Warren passed peacefully Saturday, November 29th at Heritage of Hudson, Hudson, Ohio. Born July 15, 1933 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he graduated from Hicksville, NY served our country in the U.S. Air Force, met the love of his life, Bonibel B. Goss and married in 1954 and became a naturalized citizen in 1955. He worked at Red's Auto Glass from 1956-1977. He was cofounder of the Glass Gallery from 1977-1995. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, "Bonnie"Henkel, parents Joseph & Clara (Knagg) Henkel, brother & sister in law Kenneth & Lee Henkel, a grandson Dustin Heitzwebel. He is survived by his loving family; a son, Tim (Joyce) Henkel; daughters, Tami (Tim) Heitzwebel, Heidi (Rob) Mocas, Holly (McCarthy) Henkel; 11 adored grandchildren, Nicole, Danielle, Tiffany Henkel, Brandon, Emily Heitzwebel, Lindsay (Dustin) Heitzwebel Smith, Rochelle, Collin Mocas, Jessica, Krista, Kaela McCarthy; great grandchildren, Hudson, Havanah Smith; in-laws, Dale (Jackie) Snyder, Bill (Judy) Goss; numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation will take place and a memorial is scheduled for 1:00 pm, December 3rd at Howland Community Church, 198 Niles-Cortland Road, Warren, Pastor Marianne Short officiating.
