Champion - Ronald E. "Ron" Jones, 68, passed away August 16, 2015 at U.P.M.C. in Pittsburgh. He was born April 27, 1947, in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Donald and Donna Jones. Ron was a graduate of Farmington High School. He retired from Delphi after 42 years. Ron enjoyed riding his motorcycle and model trains. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife Dianne Jones whom he married June 28, 1991, four sons Michael W. (Michalina) Jones of Hubbard, Donald (Michelle) Jones of Columbus, Michael (Kim) Schwab of Southington and Richard Schwab of Warren, seven grandchildren Zachary, Gabriella, Brandon, Emily, and Addison Jones, Mackenzie and Aidan Schwab, two brothers W. Scott (Maryann) Jones of Bristolville, and Richard Jones of Farmington and a sister Loretta McKnight of Hubbard. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Wesley Jones. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. Service will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with pastor Paul Leone officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
