WARREN - Rose Marie Crossan, 82, of Warren, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, with her loving family at her side.

She was born April 21, 1929, in Fayette County, Pa., the daughter of Elias and Anna Kaparal Chunko.

She retired from Packard Electric Co. in 1991 and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Rose Marie enjoyed reading, traveling, having lunch with other Packard Electric retirees, visiting casinos with her daughters and friends, and spending time with her family.

Rose Marie's husband, Charles F. Crossan Jr., whom she married Aug. 26, 1950, passed away Jan. 1, 1964.

Rose Marie leaves behind her two daughters, Debbie A. (Don) Platt Jr. of Warren and Diane P. (Jim) Petiya of Warren; three grandchildren, David Platt, Donielle Melka and Ryan Petiya; and three great-grandchildren, Rachel, Autumn and Rainna.

In addition to her husband and parents, Rose Marie was preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine M. Bellay and Marie Chunko.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Sinchak and Sons Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, preceded by a 9:30 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
